Hi, I'm Paul Bendzik.

I've spent the last decade somewhere between writing code, running marketing campaigns, and trying to make small businesses look bigger than they are. I started by running marketing and SEO for SMBs — paid, organic, lifecycle, the works. After that I spent years as a developer, building the kind of products I used to promote. Eventually I drifted into AI and automation, and that's where most of my work lives now.

Then GPT-3 showed up. I remember pasting marketing briefs into the playground at 2 a.m. and realising — quietly, before most of my friends — that the way work got done was about to change. I rebuilt my own marketing stack with it. Then I rebuilt the way I shipped code. Then I started getting calls from SMB owners asking for the same thing.

That's how Scale me AI started. I've now sat on the operator side of dental clinics, agencies, e-commerce shops, contractors, and SaaS teams — long enough to spot the same pattern over and over: small businesses are drowning in repetitive work that an AI agent could handle in fourteen days. So that's what I build. Voice agents that answer the phone at 9 p.m. Chatbots that qualify leads while you sleep. n8n flows that move a contact from "first email" to "sent invoice" without anyone touching a keyboard.

At some point the calls outgrew me. So I brought in a small team of developers, designers, and automation engineers I'd worked with for years — people who actually ship and don't hide behind retainers. When you book a call now, you're still talking to me, but the build behind it is a tight group of operators who've been doing this together long enough to skip the part where everyone learns each other's tools.

I write here mostly to share what's actually working — the un-glamorous, hands-on stuff most agencies leave out of the case studies. If something on the blog feels useful, that's why.
